This gene is a candidate gene for autism and variable cognitive impairment in the 16q24.3 microdeletion syndrome. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Jan 2011] Function: FLJ31875 belongs to the krueppel C2H2 type zinc finger protein family. It contains 19 C2H2 type zinc fingers and 1 KRAB domain.  Paraformaldehyde-fixed, paraffin embedded (human cervical cancer); Antigen retrieval by boiling in sodium citrate buffer (pH6.0) for 15min; Block endogenous peroxidase by 3% hydrogen peroxide for 20 minutes; Blocking buffer (normal goat serum) at 37°C for 30min; Antibody incubation with (ZNF778) Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-16120R) at 1:400 overnight at 4°C, followed by a conjugated secondary (sp-0023) for 20 minutes and DAB staining.
