BD BioCoat肠上皮细胞分化系统
上皮细胞是位于皮肤或腔道表层的细胞，在体内贴附于三维基底膜基质。在体外上皮细胞可用二维或三维培养研究细胞的生长与分化。二维培养通常用于细胞的贴壁与增殖，三维培养用于需要在模拟体内生长环境下才能进行分化的细胞，如乳腺的形成。
BD BioCoat的I型胶原和PDL都可用于包被细胞培养的二维表面，促进新生角质细胞、HEK-293等细胞的贴壁能力。
BD 胶原纤维包被的小室可以用于Caco-2细胞的三维培养。Caco-2细胞是研究小肠药物吸收度的标准模型。传统要培养21天才能形成Caco-2细胞单层，而使用BD Biocoat肠上皮细胞分化系统仅需三天即可建立Caco-2细胞体外模型。
