Biosphere® filter tips for contamination-free pipetting

Many areas of research and analysis use highly sensitive techniques. Biosphere® filter tips ensure interference from aerosols containing DNA or RNA and carry-over of infectious or toxic materials is eliminated.

The filters used in Biosphere® filter tips are made from pure hydrophobic polyethylene without any "self-sealing" additives. Therefore, the filter works as an effective aerosol barrier, guaranteeing protection against carry-over and contamination. If the filter is accidentally wetted from over-pipetting, it does not froth up. The sample can be recovered by simply pushing the pipettor button.

Filter tips are available racked and meet our Biosphere® quality and purity standard (i.e. guaranteed sterile, nonpyrogenic, and DNA-, RNase- and ATP-free).
