Description(产品描述)

Human Immunodeficiency Virus type 1 (IIIB strain) infected H9 cells lysed with Triton X-100

For research use only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures.

Infectious disease antigens prepared by ABI are formulated with the scientific research community in mind. Every product has been carefully optimized and characterized to assure high sensitivity and specificity in a variety of antibody detection assay formats. In addition to virus infected cell extracts, ABI offers five uninfected cell extracts (Vero, HFS, H9, HSB-2, and MOLT-3) for use as negative controls.

Antigen purification strategies vary according to each product. Purification methods include immunoaffinity purification of individual relevant proteins, conventional chromatographic separations, ultracentrifugation, and proprietary extraction methodologies. Antigen function, stability, and reproducibility are given the attention necessary to ensure that all of our antigens are of the highest quality available.

Details(注意事项):

Shipping and Storage: This product is shipped frozen on dry ice. Store at -70°C upon receipt. Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles as product degradation may result.

Recommendations: Before use, thaw the frozen vial in a waterbath set at 37°C, vortex to mix, centrifuge at 3000 RPM for 5 minutes at 4°C. Aspirate the supernatant carefully and use for the intended assay.

Safe Handling Recommendation: This inactivated biological preparation should be handled in accordance with biosafety guidelines defined in the BMBL, NIH-CDC HHS Publication No. 93-8395.

 FAO(常见问题):

How are ABI’s Virus Infected/Uninfected Cell Extracts supplied? All ABI antigens are supplied frozen on dry ice. Virus Infected Cell Extracts are offered in 1  mL and 25 mL sizes and are offered to enable manufacturers to move directly from evaluation/qualification to production without incurring additional freeze-thaw cycles.  Uninfected Cell  Extracts are offered in a 1 mL size.

How are ABI’s Virus Infected/Uninfected Cell Extracts purified?  Purification methodology varies according to the individual product requirements, as do the  buffers in which the antigens are frozen.
We recommend that you contact us with your assay specifications so that we may suggest the  appropriate form and purity.

How pure are ABI’s Virus Infected/Uninfected Cell Extracts?   ABI offers a variety of antigens (in different purities) to address individual assay/cost  requirements.
We recommend that you contact us with your assay specifications so that we may suggest the  appropriate form and purity.

How should Virus Infected/Uninfected Cell Extracts be stored? We recommend that all antigens be stored frozen at -70°C or below. Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles as this will affect antigen activity. Do not dilute and freeze — make final dilution just  prior to use.

How is the protein concentration of ABI’s Virus Infected/Uninfected Cell Extracts  determined?  A modified BCA protein assay is used with Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA) as the protein  standard.
